1 Installation

Download the plugin .zip from the Download page. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, select the file, install and activate. On activation the plugin creates its database tables and adds the SEO Pro menu. No license key is needed during the beta.

2 Configuration

Open SEO Pro → Settings. Set your scan scope (posts, pages, or both), choose how many items to process per batch, and optionally enter an AI provider key and a Google PageSpeed key. The "Powered by" credit is off by default. Save your settings before running the first scan.

• Scan scope — choose posts, pages, or both.
• Batch size — how many items each background batch processes.
• AI provider key — optional; stored in your own database.
• PageSpeed key — optional; enables performance scoring.

3 Scanning

From the dashboard, click Run Full Scan. The scan runs in the background in small batches, so it never blocks your site. A progress bar shows how many pages have been processed. When it finishes you'll see your scores and a prioritized list of issues. You can re-scan at any time, and schedule weekly scans from Settings.

4 Travel SEO

The Travel SEO page shows issues found on travel-specific pages. The plugin detects the page type automatically — you don't need to tag anything. Each issue explains what's missing (for example, a currency converter widget or a visa document list) and, where possible, offers a one-click fix or the exact schema to add.

5 AI Features

With an API key configured, open any issue that supports generation (meta description, title, ALT text) and click Generate. The suggestion appears for your review — nothing is applied until you approve it. If your primary provider is unavailable, the plugin automatically tries the next one. Generated results are cached to avoid repeat charges.

6 Reports

The Reports page shows your score history and lets you compare any two scans. Use Export CSV to download the full issue list for clients or records. Agencies can enable white-label branding and schedule email reports from the Agency settings.

7 Rollback

Every auto-fix is saved as a snapshot before the change is made. To undo a fix, find it in the issue history and click Rollback — the original content is restored and the issue reopens. Snapshots are kept for 30 days. You can roll back a single fix, all fixes on a post, or an entire scan.

8 Troubleshooting

Scan seems stuck: on low-traffic sites WordPress's built-in cron only runs when someone visits. Configure a real server cron, or simply visit the dashboard to nudge it along.

Charts not showing: clear your browser cache after updating the plugin.

White screen after activation: confirm PHP 7.4+ and increase memory to 256 MB. Deactivating the plugin is always safe and keeps your data.
