These release notes are the technical companion to our changelog. Where the changelog summarizes what's new, this page documents the build-level detail: what was fixed, what changed under the hood, and what's still a known issue. If you're testing AOB SEO Pro on a real site, read the known issues for each build.

v3.2.1 — Beta Test Edition

Boot & architecture

  • All modules wired into a dependency-injection container; 33 services resolve at boot.
  • 0 syntax errors across 63 PHP files (verified on PHP 8.3).
  • Activation creates 8 database tables, including rollback snapshots and the content index.

Fixes

  • Removed a dead REST API reference that previously caused a fatal error on load.
  • Added the missing container accessor used by the cron dispatcher.
  • Corrected admin asset filenames so dashboard styles and scripts load.
  • Bundled the real Chart.js v4.4.0 library locally (previous build shipped a placeholder).
  • Installer now creates the v3.1 tables (rollbacks, content index) that were previously skipped.

Security

  • All 13 AJAX endpoints gated with nonce and capability checks.
  • Constant-time secret comparison (hash_equals) on the background worker endpoint.
  • Every external service the plugin can contact is disclosed; no critical or high-severity findings.

Beta layer

  • Single-switch Beta Mode grants full Agency-level access without a license key.
  • License bypass is non-destructive — licensing code remains intact and resumes when beta ends.
  • Graceful fallback to the Free tier on beta expiry, with no data loss.

Compatibility

  • PHP 7.4 minimum; verified clean on PHP 8.3; no dynamic properties or deprecated calls.
  • WordPress 5.9+; single-site verified.

⚠ Known issues in this build

  • Multisite: network-activate does not migrate pre-existing subsites — activate per site.
  • Large sites: sites over 10,000 posts should configure a real server cron for reliable background scans.
  • Internationalization: some interface strings are not yet fully translatable.
  • Reporting: PDF export is not included in this build (CSV export is available).
  • Testing: this build has been verified in a simulated environment; a full real-database integration pass is still recommended on staging before wide rollout.
